Can someone tell me if there is a difference between aftermarket forged pistons for the 200sx sr20det and the sr20det gtir pistons as some companies list them under the same category.

S14 and GTi-R pistons are the same

I thought the GTi-R pistons had the little cutout on the skirt for the oil squirters and SX SR20DET pistons fouled them as they don't (not an expert here, just from what I know).

i dont know about S13 and S15 pistons but i know for a fact that the S14 and GTi-R pistons are the same.

All the SR20DET's come with the oil piston squirters. The pistons will have a little half moon notch to clear the squirters. Make sure you line this up!!!
