300+bhp GTIR wanted px my standard GTIR

looking for any modded r's running a reliable 300+ bhp with as high a torque as possible

i recently missed out on a red one pushing 316bhp and over 300lbs torque (proven)

anyway just testing water to see what i can get offered or if anyone wants a nice standard black one plus cash


just want a bascally standard looking gtir but a monster under the bonnet


my other option is to mod this one but i know you will never get your money back in the long run.. its easier to get one already done

why dont you keep the one you,ve got now?
300+ isnt hard to achieve on a decent standard engine, if you up the boost to 1.2 and get a walbro fitted and get it mapped you could achieve that on what you have, with little expense;-)
think you go through as many motors as i do, but make no money from them!
if that cars a goodun, then hang on to it and chuck a few quid at it, you havent got to do it all in one hit!
as i said, 300bhp isnt hard to achieve

I have the same dilemma. I bought a fairly standard R a couple of months ago and felt it might be more practical to get shot of it and buy a modded R. Anyway, been looking through the threads and getting advice from other members and have decided to keep this and dabble. Sh1t, I've spent over £1200 on this getting every drop of fluid changed, plugs, induction, disks+pads all round ect. It's only done 40K miles and everything feels and sounds good. Once I sell this ( www.inversnaid.com ) I will have the money to do it properly and make it my hobby. End result has got to be more satifying rather than buying somebody elses projest.
I've just ordered a BOV, Dawes Device, Walbro fuel pump. I'll fit this and up the boost abit.

full exhaust (i dont even know if mine has a cat on it) its k reg so should have?


ive ordered some grade 8 plugs last night which should be here tuesday
