Hi all,

With much regret I am forced to put my R up for sale, moved out of my parents and with the other half nagging I have to sell up as the insurance for three cars (two been pulsars) and space is just not working out. Although I am in no rush to sell as this is a fine example with sensible modifications and a key method has always been followed which is "keep tings simple" which makes it really driveable and also an extremely quick R.

The members R thread is here which explains everything that has gone on in my ownership http://www.gtiroc.com/forums/showthread.php?65580-Toms-Second-Pulsar-GTiR

The vehicle has MOT until August 12th 2014 and 4-5 months tax. I do have the original Rota alloys which came with the car, will update this all with the correct info tonight.

looking for £4000 I have seen tired examples with the right spec fetch similar prices not so long ago and I do still believe that in this world you spend that little bit more and you get a lot back, a lot of people end up buying a cheaper car and spending well stupid money. I did this myself and the receipts for this car tally up into the thousands. All previous receipts from Opie oil bills to the turbo and ancillaries are present dating right back to the original buyer.

I will be hosting a website for pictures, this will include up to date pictures taken this week (latest on members thread) and also some past pictures from the previous owner Frit from the anniversary meet, the engine rebuild etc. Please keep your eye on t

The engine was completed by the previous owner, he bought a short forged engine from gtir-loz which had a damaged thread so the engines were taken apart to make one good running forged engine. Unfortunately the HKS pistons in the new engine were 87mm whereas the Arias were 86.2ish meaning the block would need a rebore for them to fit, so the decision was made to fit the Arias pistons along with the crank and rods from the new engine.

Put the misses out for sexual favours Tom.
I should do, times change really and I just don't get much these days I mean time . I have got the insurance renewal Monday so I will be able to drive it as I had took myself of the policy and left my dad on as it was around 30 quid cheaper a month so I might change my mind as we have been going out quite a bit since going down to Ed's and it is a cracking car. It has taken me about 3 months to actually man up and put the post up, hell I had to do it at work just to get a post up or I would keep putting it off and it would be January before you knew it  every time I open the garage door I get a nice feeling seeing it in there.

Very nice car mate I like the passengers seat, What cobra is it ?
Thanks, its a good car just needs to get some use as its a waste sat about. Both seats are the same Cobras, just had a stock seat in for me as I didnt get on with it after I slipped a disk lol. Its not uncomfortable just couldnt sit right in it myself my dad has no issues. Not 100% sure what model the seats arr. Funnily enough the cobra factory is only a few miles from me.
