3rd gear :-(

Havin a play on the way back from watchin rallyX at Lydden and I seem to have mis-placed 3rd gear
Not havin lost a gear before can enyone help me with the symptoms.
My confusion comes because it still goes into gear (ie synchro is fine) but once in gear feels like neutral.
Anyone had a similar problem :?:
And anyone got a 2nd hand box they're sellin to get me back in action for the mo.

yeah 4th still there but a little notchy.
new it was gonne go cos 3rd felt notchy on way back but couldn't resist an s13 flyin by after a bike.

could just be a bent selector fork but could also be a stripped gear

yeah but i thought if it was a selector fork it wouldn't feel like it was going into gear :?:

Probably the gear teeth then. Either way, it looks like a box out job.

Maybe try draining the gearbox oil and checking for bits

I will have a go in situe but not to fussed bout takin the engine out.
Just gonna have to have look and see what occurs.

what was it u told me,if u dont drive it hard enough it breaks
