9:1 comp ratio

Has anyone on here used 9:1 comp ratio ? How much boost could it handle would i get det at lower boost then 8:5:1

det would occur lower than the standard compression but with good fuel and close mapping a very responsive car can be made

yeah, there was a mad red micra running a sr20de turbo engine on 9:1 compression. Said it had 400bhp @1bar with a GT30, good going that !

I had 9:1 i was boosting 12psi-14psi daily 100 miles a day 91 octane JWT ECU cobra maf 72lb injector FMIC cjwt s3 cams timing adv to 17* gt3037 no detonation .

Thanks for the info just that i found a 2.2 kit for the sr20det with 9:1 comp and lows car sound reliable, so desition made 9;1 it is
