Air-con removal - 845 belt

I picked one of these up from Halfrauds last night and noticed it's quite a bit thinner than the original belt. Did I pick up the wrong one or is it normal ?

i found the 845e required too much adjustment, changing to an 825e when i replace my oil pump at the weekend, jeff

I don't think an 825 will fit my new 844 is tight :? .

The 825 fits, but only using a screw driver as a lever and turning it over with no plugs in to get it on

Still a bit too tight though, I think I may have knacked my alternator bearing, starting to whine a bit now :evil:

so rob how can 1mm on the crircumfrence of a belt take the adjustment from one end of the scale to the other and still be tight????, you sure you have an 844? jeff

Yep it def 844 mate but it wasn't as tight as I thought because after I had fitted it and posted I found out that I had a bit more adjustment .

i fitted the 825 to mine yesterday, id say it is as good a belt as you would get circumfrence wise, gives the length of the adjuster bolt as much as you could possibly get, jeff
