Annoying Rattle!

Can anyone help!!! :doh:

i have an annoying rattle under the bonnet, that sounds like errrr, a coin in a glass jar,
its not that loud and only does it at start up and idle,
i have spent days looking,:der:

there is no loss in power the car runs fine, getting faster by the pay slip :-D
i have only owned the car for 9 mths, its my first one, and i love it,:thumbsup:
has anyone has had the same probs!!!!

Bounce the front of the car up and down and see if you can hear it. It sounds very similar to a knackered damper I had !

check the bolt in the alternator isn't loose, the nut comes off the end and the bolt rattles around (but can't come out becasue it hits the manifold)
