Arch liners off

Has anyone removed the front wheel arch liners for good?

Mine are pissing me right off.

I thought at least for the summer months I’d rip em out. They’re all cracked and hanging off, bolts missing and they rub the wheel now and again too.

My passenger wheel arch lining is in a similar state, I have been trying to source another one
Never really thought about removing them?

Do they not help out with stopping the inner arches from getting damaged/rusty?

I ripped mine out years ago, not before the tyres wore most of them away though.

awesome - does it look weird (if you can see it from certain angle from outside?)

and no rust/crap/damaged wires etc?

Most of my passenger one is gone and looks a bit strange being able to see the intercooler pipes etc

Maybe I'll chop out the bit over the wheel, the bit you can't see. Or make some nice looking blanking plates or something.

My arch liners have never been there and I get loads of crap coming up onto the hinges.. I'm gonna see if I can get something made up to stop it because it's a pig to clean.

The troublesome part is normally the front part of the liner, mine in the end rubbed on the tire so much it just wore it away to a perfect fit, just cut the front away and leave the back section to stop the crap getting in the hinges.
