Dont have one personally, but heard of a few snapping, might depend how violent you are with them??

I have one gear stick is shorter throw is reduced and feels fine.

I wouldnt think the one i have would snap the only ones that would snap would be the alloy ones that used to be around they where a bit weak.

i dont think il modify my one, and im not that violent with the gear changes as it is, so il prob get one of these kits, but its gona have to join the que of things to be done at the minute!
