what diameter pipes you using, whats the mass flow rate through exhaust port? what collector you running? whats the pressure bypass ratio to the dump pipe?

get my drift?

sorry will rephrase the question what is estimate back presssure at different boost level with stock dumpipe and mongoose turbo back system? has anyone measured it? what would you use to check back pressure ? would it be possible to adapt boost guage with hollow bolt using braided pipe in lambda position to check back pressure? and at cat temp hole?

I've only ever seen it measured once that I can remember and I think they attatched(welded?!?) a metal tube to a hole in the exhaust and made a u-tube manometer and measured it in inches of water or something. I'm not sure if a boost gauge woild be too good from the exhaust gas emperature side of things.

If you could get a brake union to fit the thread you could maybe try it with that and some brake pipe. :?:

with the stock manifold and turbine housing i would imagine 2-4psi higher than the boost pressure you are running

thanks fast guy for sujjestions really want to do some comparisons between stock dumpipe/and aftermarket setups obviously if you,ve got decent turbo but getting huge backpreesure due to dumppipe setup mean that it folly to fit expensive turbo with standard dumpipe?
