bought my car about 2 months ago (already in garage) and was told it has always been run at 0.9 bar with a bleed valve. This may be i very stupid question but i am still learning how to i turn the bosost up and down using the bleed valve. i am in the process of buying an electroic boost controller. VBut when i get my car back i was just going to run it on low boost as all i will be doing is going from work and back which is like a two mile round trip.

just take the bleed valve out of the equation.

usually when a bleed valve is fitted the standard boost solenoid is bypassed.

So..

If you look at the bleed valve, you will see a pipe that goes to the actuator.... the short one to the left. And another that goes off to the right and disappears around the right of the engine.

just disconnect the pipe from the right of the bleed valve.

pull the bleed valve and short pipe off the actuator.

the pipe which was connected to the right of the bleed valve.... stick it straight on the actuator..

gives you about .5 bar.

The alternative is just not to put you foot down??????
