BLITZ SONIC POWER AIR FILTER

anyone got one of these on their R they are a bit expensive (£205) but supposed to be one of the best filter out. do they give a good power increase?

ive got one doesnt seem to be any improvement over what i had before(hks replacement panel filter) but it sounds better and works out cheaper in the long run compared to the hks mushroom filter that i had fitted to my mazda

yeah i have one. i use cold air feed from the brake duct to the outside of the heat shield, the advantage with this one is that it doesn,t suck heated air as some of them do. gives the turbo more colder air charge.

i like the blitz sonic filter but its a bit epensive still considering it though i have an hks mushroom on at the mo is it worth changing

it depends how many miles a year you do and the type of driving in the mazda i did about 11000 miles a year mostly shortish trips and after about 5000 miles was having to change the filter so when i bought the gtir i bought the blitz i take it off and clean it every so often
