Boost Problem

Ok boys, Firstly I know this is another post on turbo problems I have searched the forums and cannot find the answer.....

Ill put up some things first of which i have:-
GT28RS Turbo (1month old Brand new).. (Vaccum is 17-1 T
The Autometer Boost Guage now 'ticks' never has before this..
Aftermarket Acuator (from Rotomaster 2 days old)
(supposely low is 10psi & goes up to 20psi )
FMIC ( put it on Saturday just gone ) Barely no flutter at all!! and now BOV dont work!

I've had my R for nearly 2 years now, Always had a boost problem never seen over 10psi in it thats with the hose pulled off the wastegate!!!

I pulled the hose off the new wastegate tonight to see if anything has changed and still not going over 10psi!! What is going on?!?!??!

Really frustrating me now, the set up is stock hose from the plenum to the gate, which is t'd one going to the solinoid and other to the inlet pipe will only get 7psi.

I pull the hose off the plenum and I only see 10psi..

Then I tried the famous " 1 bar trick " linking both hoses off the solinoid and I got 5psi nothing more?!?!?!


Car runs fine.. idles at 900rpm no faults at all with it!!
Can someone please help me whats going on?!?!

maybe the actuator is knacked, causing it to pull the wastegate open too early ? or a crack in the wastegate housing which is bypassing the wastegate ?

Could it be fuel cut issue? do the stock cpu's have this feature and retard the timing or something!!??

i will say this only once...........

the gtir does NOT have a fuel cut;-)

the oe ecu will retard the timing and lower boost if it detects DET.
