boost spike

i have just been for a blast in my car. my evc is set to 1.25 bar. but when i was accelerating hard it went up to 1.38-1.41bar. why is this is it to do with it being damp/foggy/ are the offsets not correct on the evc :?: .luckily i did not hear any det. :shock: and after three or four times hitting 1.4 bar i backed offthe throttle.suggestions please before a piston decides to self destruct :!:

i also get boost spikes when its cold on my avcr, i think its normal m8, especially if youve still got a top mount(guessing you havent with 1.25 bar though )Although, ive only got it set to 1 bar, and it spikes to 1.15-1.2, so its not as bad as 1.4
