Brake Pipes

Has anybody ever replaced the front brake pipes with the engine in,

If so how did you do it?? Ive had a look and i think its take the plenum off and have a go from there.

its a nightmare what are the backs like,if u can get car up on a lift it makes the job alot easier but if your doing it on jacks good luck

I'm doing mine now as it happens lol, But the engines out hahahaha, Pretty easy I'm finding it lol.

Is it ok to cut out a length of brake pipe with a split in it and then fix in a new section, rather than do the whole run of pipe?

Yeah ok to joint to a good piece, but obviously better if you dont have to.

If at all possible i wont, looks like the engines out again!
