Bucket seat problem

Guys,

I'm trying to fit a Momo "arrow type" bucket seat, and offcourse it wont go on the standard rails, so have to get the mount bracket made for it which is cool.

But a thing thats pissing me off is they saying is that the bucket seat will sit a bit higher than the standard seat if this is done, or they need to modify the floor? I reckon this is fooken bullshit, what you guys think, and what is your experience on this.

If anyone has got a momo bucket installed, can I see some photos of the setup and a lil advise on what to do???

Hi,

I have fitted Cobra bucket seats to my GTIR, the standard seats are real close to the cross member so I could only get the base of the buckets as low as the original seats. However the base of the bucket seats are thinner so you end up sitting lower anyway. If you are tall, you could try mounting the seat behind the cross member, maybe someone has already done this but you would need to be real tall!
