cam upgrade advice please

thinking of a uprated cam can i just inlet and what sort of degree would i need but wont to stay on standard pulleys!!! what else would i need after fitting i.e injectors or remap or would it just be ok to drop cam in and run???
would they be any performance gain and would it sound a little bit lumpyer??

hks 264's drop in cams,they use standard pulley's.

gav,i put 264,s in a few month ago,
mate your tickover will be lumpy on cold until warmed up,
i noticed more mid range pull tbh,
ive also heard that most need reshimming,afterwards,
alough i just put mine in and went.

alway's check the valve clearences after changing the cams,or risk burning the valve/valve seats out.good way to loose power/compression and screw the cylinder head .;-)

so 264s is what i need then wheres a good place to get them from and price wise???
