...where the switch is that activates the reversing lights when you move the stick into reverse...

It's in the side of the gearbox fella , if you look through the passenger wheel arch you should be able to see a big round plastic plate with a wire comeing out of it .

Thanks... the reversing lights go off and on, depending on which way you waggle the stick, even though reverse gear is always engaged...? Is it faulty?

Sounds like it, the switch is easy to replace, you will have to drain the gearbox oil tho

The mo fo's (not mentioning any names) that did my last clutch must have damaged mine when changing the parts etc as mine doesn't even light the rear anymore grrrr :evil:
