yes, very carefully. Use injector cleaner or alcohol on a cotton bud.

exersise extreme caution if you are gonna tackle it with a cotton bud, the wire is really really fragile

Soak it in isopropyl alcohol, use the liquid form and not the solvent and dont touch the hot wire element as you will trash it....

definately dont use brake cleaner or carb cleaner, is way to voilent for it
