clunk clunk clunkety clunk

hey dudes my r at low speed manouvering is clunking quite badly i thought it was propshaft bearing as there is quite a bit of play in it but i fear it is something worse any suggestions, it sounds like its from the back but it can be deceiving, maybe the transfer box? driveshaft? i would appreciate some advice

Are we talking straight line, cornering, accelerating, constant speed?

It could even be something like your exhaust or suspension knocking on something.

Try jacking it up and seeing if there much freeplay anywhere.

If you've got a Goose you can get a 'clunk' as they pass very close in some areas.

Hi mate sounds like the outer cv joint, the boot/gaitor wears through then crud gets inside (I've replaced split gaitors twice on L+R front) A decent spares shop should be able to supply cv and gaitor for not too bad money. (my gaitors were £7 ea)
