clunking sound whilst in reverse

As above, got the car out the garage last weekend its been in there for 6 years, the car is fine going forward.
could it be dry CV joints or prop UJ's. Any suggestions.

If you get under the car and see if there is play in the prop shaft when trying to turn it by hand.

Dont go under there if the car is un secure and / or running, not worth being squashed lol.

The rear diff's are prone to getting worn and making loud noises.

Have the oils been changed in the R recently considering its long time stood? Oil breaks down over time whether run or not.

My last one done this after is sat for a couple of months, and rear diff was the culprit.
It was even worse when turning while reversing, it felt like it was locking up.

I have not changed the fluids yet just took it down the bottom of the drive and back.
Should the rear diff have no play or slight movement?
