clutch bleed valve

i changed my clutch master cylinder and didnt know i had to bleed the system...silly me. well i drove the car home with no clutch. ive read that the bleed valve is on top of the gearbox but where(fwd,aft,left,right)? what size is it if anyone recalls(8mm or 10mm)?

look for a hose below the thermostat on the gearbox, there should be a rubber boot there. the nipples next to it
