Theres a bleed nipple on the slave cylinder on the gearbox, fill the reservoir and pump the air out through the nipple. I had the same prob when I fitted my engine, was a pain to bleed, turned out to be the slave cylinder...I think where I had disconnected it it had buggered it :x
