clutch

hi on the way 2 work yesterday my clutch pedal went really soft so i got the car back home and had a look, there was a slight spot of oil on top of the gear box. any idea what it could be, thanks:roll:

Sounds like it could be the slave cylinder or hydraulic pipes that go to it that would be the first place i would check.

Also check that the Clutch hose hasn't worn away and started leaking..

clutch hose is most likely if so get a braided one dont buy another strd one

Why not? If the standard one has lasted roughly 15 years it can't be doing that much of a bad job!

found the prob, it was the hose that comes from the slave cylinder. now the prob is where do a get 1, any 1 know what the part number is from nissan:shock: :?
