I bought it off a kid on here a few months back and just repainted it as it was a bit grubby. He got it from a local tuner near him. I payed £350 for it :D

Looks like the front mount uses the rad mounts when fitted, I would think that it would make it a bit tight if you where to try and fit a bigger turbo.

Does it come with new fan's?

Good thinking batman

i fitted a double core rad to mine the other week and had to chop one of the supports off for the fan motor on each fan as they where hitting the turbo and water hose

It is a tight fit but when I get a bigger turbo it will go and I do get a fan with the setup but only one

Where abouts can i get hold of one of these, also can you provide info such as core sizes, and the CFM if you know it. I presume fitting is alot easier than installing a seperate FMIC as you are using the original mounts?

Cheers

Hmmm, I was advised to use heat resistant paint
call me a numpty  but wouldn' t that insulate it thereby stopping it from transfering heat properly :? the main problem being hot air from the turbo and not radiant heat from the engine/rad

iirc blacks best for radiating heat..

basically the main aim IF your going to paint it is for looks yeah?

well your looks the nuts ;)

but what you must make sure is not to block / restrict air flow through the fins, even the slightest layer of paint can do this, and the next thing is that if the paint does not have the right heat transfer coefficient then it actaully restricts heat transfer through the walls of rad!

but im sure you got it ok ;)

looks good anyways

Installing is was very easy and it does use the originalrad mounts. However I removed the air con system at the same time. But the kid who I got it off had the air con on so it fits with both. I will post a pic up fitted some time today 8)
