Consult port

Where is the consult port located? is it OBD1 or OBDII?

Havent got the car near me so cant check myselves;-)

In the fuse box above your right knee when sitting in the drivers seat.

OBD1.

Edit: just realised you are from Norway so probably left hand drive. In that case above your left knee behind a small pull out panel, when sitting in the drivers seat.

Is it OBD at all? I thought it pre-dated OBD and was just "Nissan Consult".

it is OBDI port outputting Consult, some later models used OBDII port but was still consult output, see http://ecutalk.com for good info

This is for a Pulsar so will be on the right side;-) I got a late year 94 model so maybe i got a OBDll how do i notice the difference?

No. They are all OBD I - I've done my research now; later models as in "Almera" etc.

it will still be OBDI, but may have an OBDII port. Check ecutalk.com for infos ..
