that disc is the same as the k sport use in there 8 pots, so unless the caliper is narrower in depth you will have exactly the same problem with the spacers!

£750 aint a bad price though for ebay

Only if you break the law when importing, and the supplier also breaks the law.

+ Duty @ 4%
+VAT @ 17.5%

£888.75 with no UK backup or serive. Uk retail with postage £872.63 which is cheaper

I'd imagine most people would rather take the risk and get parts from overseas than pay over the odds prices from a uk supplier ;-)

Plus knowing your getting one over on the government by avoiding paying them is a bonus too

We have a Slogan at KSport "Braking Expectations" the biggest problem we have is people assuming becasue they are cheaper than the likes of AP they must be crap.

This is only from people who havent tried them, and therefore cant actually judge them.

In this years Time Attack, the championship winners from last year in Club FI and in Pro class, are both running KSport brakes in 2008.

Zen Performance, who also went to Japan and finished 11th in the Japan Time Attack, employ BTCC drivers like Phil Glew to drive their race car. They are happy with there brakes, I think that says a lot. I havent paid Zen to run the brakes, ok they got them free, but they bought the handbrake and airjacks, I dont think cost is an factor in there 2008 car build they just want stuff that works, they asked me if we would supply brakes and I said yes. Zen came to us.

It doesn't help matters when you have every Tom Dick and Harry flogging what appears to be exactly the same thing under various different banners   , For me personally I think they should just sell them under one brand name and cut out all the dodgy colored finishes :yuck:  .

They are making themselves look cheap and nasty in my opinion, And the same goes to those dodgy looking chavtastic brakes bobby is trying to flog :yuck: .

I agree but I doubt that I'd take such a big risk with something like these 8 pots that we know are troublesome  :der: .
I was talking about parts in general not the brakes ;-)

But whilst we're on that subject its not the actual brakes that are troublesome, its the bad organisation with fitting on certain kits thats the problem with them! But fitting problems aside i havent seen or heard anything bad about k sport/d2 brakes yet, they seem to work well for people that have fitted them but then its still a bit early to show up any long term problems. Until people have had them fitted for a decent length of time you cant really judge them ;-)

Its easy to see why the kits cost less than AP's/Acons etc as soon as you look at the calipers, they just look so cheap and nasty! Look at the bridge pipe on this caliper for example, it looks like somebodys just bent it round the edge of a workbench and then stuck it in the caliper

il second that aswell

im bailing out of the brake deal now with vttr, as tbh its more aggro than its worth, still no questions answered even though i asked a few things a few days ago of them, so if its like this now then whats it gonna be like if theres a problem at a later stage!
believe me for what im making out the deal it really aint worth the aggro.

apex, ksport, d2 etc etc etc are all just on the make as far as im concerned with no customer backup only profit in mind.
there all like a bunch of vultures pushing there product onto people by claiming its the best thing since sliced bread.

well im inclined to agree with odin on this one, ap, brembro and the like are streets ahead in the racing field, and they always will be even though they are more expensive. they are a known quality product that works.

these ksport brakes etc maybe ok in time attack, but thats just a one lap thing so they have no real abuse. now put them into a 30 lap race and we will see how they hold up over a period of time, il be amazed if they last a season without blowing seals etc etc
thats why all the proper race cars and teams go for the good quality known brands, as these have lasted the course and distance.

Then comes my question as an confused owner! Which brand does work, what is worth paying for? It's so many treads and everyone has a opinion!!

i have put out a few emails in the last few days, you can get a 4 pot ap 295 kit for the pulsar for 1295 plus vat, plus postage:der:
or hispec 325 monster 6 posts for 100 more del to your door with 100 off if 5 kits are bought
it is alot of money but it seems hispecs prob are best for money out of the two if the ap's were with vat and del its a bit closer
