the DET is the one in front of the motor next to the oil collector.what happens if the vacume hoses arend hooked up to them?the car has a apexi boost controller and air controller.would these componets make it that u dont need to hook the vacume line?
Thats not the det sensor, it sounds like you mean the boost control solenoid in which case if you're using a boost controller you can remove it entirely. The det sensor is on the back of the block just below the inlet manifold.
