different cam shafts

i have noticed alot of ppl are using two different cam shafts now a days eg 264 intake and 272 exhaust or vice versa what are the benefits of doing this. and can the hks 264 cams that fit the s14/s15 work in the gtir? and lastly are all sr20 head gaskets the same?

Gtir head gasket is different. You can use a 200sx gasket like cosworth but need the dowel
Holes machining to suit Gtir. As for cam specs it depends on the rest of your spec and use of the car someone else might be able to shed some light on the difference in cams I use 272/276
