Different steering wheels, whats what?

Is the steering wheel with the black 'NISSAN' embossed centre cap a genuine GTI-R wheel?
Am I right in thinking that it was just a fitment to later model GTI-R's
I done a search for this topic but couldn't find anything!
Can anyone shed some light on this?

If it helps, I can confirm that all GTI-R's, regardless of year came equiped with a steering wheel 8) ;)

Mine has the emboded Black Nissan steering wheel.

Others seem to have the Red GTiR emblam.

I always thought that the Red GTiR badge was on the older generation R's and the newer ones came with a much nicer clean black Nissan badge :p :lol: like mine :lol:
