Just changed gearbox, transferbox and coilovers on my R.
When test driving the car i found that it makes hard clunks at the front when i turn and applies throttle, cant hear anything if i just roll and turn.
And with the car lifted, when i turn one front wheel, the other follows in the same direction...but i am able to hold the other one still if i try.

could be your anti-roll. or you have a dodgy wheel bearing or your ball joint is goosed. clunking to me it sounds like a ball joint.

Still waiting on some shims!
Clunking can be the CV Joint... But if you trun one wheel and the other turns in the same direction then i'm sure thats a different diff in there...

if you have a mechanical lsd in the front they clunk while turning... just installed one into my mates GTI-R Powered primera and found that its totally normal for it to clunk while turning... we thought something major was wrong but just gotta learn to live with it.

it is only when turning and gets harder the more i turn.
and its only under load.
not will rolling (meaning breaking on engine, not in neutral)

Have test droven it some more, and it seemded more and more like it was supposed to be that way.
tried it on gravel, and then there was no problem,
also just fine when in higher speeds.
Anyways i took it off for inspection,
seems to be an un original frontdiff..
can anyone guess type from these pictures?

The unknown frontdiff taken out of the transferbox:

Looking in from RH side in the original frontdiff:
