Just found 260mm front, 230mm back. Do the gti and gtir share the exact same discs and pads :? calipers?

I've had a replica and a gtir mate, and I know gtir brakes will fit onto the car. Its just if its already got gtir brakes on anyway I can just get on with buying discs and pads. C wot I mean Everyone knows gtir brakes are turd, but on a car as light as mine I'm hoping the Brembo standard size disc set-up I had on my gtir will work nicely on me motor. Just cant remember wether uk gti's had the same set-up as the R

I think it's 257mm front and 260mm rear.Halfords might be able to tell you for defo from the catalogues auto factors keep.
