Does our clutch have a self adjust?

Just wondered if our clutch has a self adjusting mechanism. As ive noticed mine will bite low, work its way to the top, then go low again. :?


Mines an ap paddle, and if it doesn't self adjust anymore, im gonna be lookin for a new 1 cos its biting high after last nights antics :roll:

there is a way of adjusting it at the top of the pedal where it links to the master cylinder,
is your clutch pedal sitting level with the brake pedal?

Its a hydraulic system the only way the biting point will change that quickley will be the fluid, check for leaks or air getting in (seals gone).

check ur clutch master cylinder

check ur clutch cylinder for like congealed brake/clutch fluid which blocks the little holes in a bit of plastic which 'strains' the fluid in to the pipe to the slave cylinder. this can make the clutch go from hard an heavy to soft as a feather. also changes the height it bites at
