i am having a new clutch done fitted tomorrow and just wana check that the gearbox takes the same oil as the transfer box? and is 75/90 synthetic? and the rear diff shud be EP90??

The manual states:-

Gearbox should be API GL4
Transfer and rear diff API GL5

80W90 is preferable for gearbox and transfer box for ambiant temperatures below 40degsC
90 is preferable for differential,(85W90 for northern Europe)


Most people just put 75W90 in like you say.

thanx for that so if i get 5l of90/90 for box and transfer and 5l for the diffs?

90/90?

You want 7 litres of 75w90 or 80w90 to do the gearbox and transfer and 1L to do the rear diff.
