DRIVERS side arch Noise

I have had a really annoying noise now in my car for ages. I think i know were it comes from but unsure as what there for.
The noise happens after accelerating or after braking etc.
It makes a ticking sound its coming from the drivers side front arch, i thought it was the plastic arch but today i felt up there and found loads of hoses or wires, i couldnt see them though, these wire/hoses are flapping around hitting the inner arch and pi55ing me off rotten :evil: :evil: Any one knwo what they are :?:

might be for the rear wash as the washer bottle is that side,

Probably, when i open the bonnet and look that side there are a few hoses that vanish down the hole into the wing. Just want to tie them up, to shut them up, it ruins driving it.
