Duty Cycle

Appolgize if I have missed a topic somewhere but i assure i have searched the site lookin for answers, simple question, dont really understand the duty cycle when it comes to fueling/injectors. Anyone could help me out with a link or some directions would be much appreciated, would like to know these things before i start my quest for bhp's, cant afford expensive rebuilds.

Duty cycle is the percentage your injectors are operating at, 100% being fully opened. The amount of fuel would depend on injector size.

As far as tuning goes, As long as they are mapped without maxing out (and some headroom) then the injectors are fine for the application.

ideally u dont want to run more than 85% duty to allow a safety margin
incase of things like a massive boost spike etc u have some head room left to supply the fuel needed
