DVLA letter?

Keep getting letters off the DVLA saying they would like me to help with some information regarding my car,namely the VIN number :? When i got the car i done an HPI check on the car and also after the first letter i did another HPI check and my car came back fine.Anybody else had letters like these?

Give em a call and ask them why they want it - I always find them quite helpful on the blower :)

When that happened to a mate of mine it was because someone else had registered a car with the same VIN number :shock:
Turned out to be a typo but i believe the DVLA do have the power to ask you to produce the car for an inspection.

'of course it might not be that at all - sorry to worry you !
