It works but not on turbo charged cars. It relies on a vacuum during accelleration to enturbulate the air, the complete opposite to what you will have on your R. The valve will remain closed most of the time and definitely when you need it most (during accelleration and WOT) so it will be about as much use as p*ss holes in snow.
