Ok when I bought the car at first, it had this little button on it called, 'how fazt speed recaller' and when pressed it would recall your last highest speed. now at first this was cool untill i noticed it also clocked up your mileage at the same rate as your last highest speed (155mph). so now im trying to get rid of the little crap and im wondering if you guys could give me some help.

here is a picture of the box behind the dials that the button was connected to, can i just snip out this box? or would it be best left alone and just hide the button? it bugs me to know theres a useless little thing behind my dash though!

the black cable on the left went down to the button, the other cables are connecting to my kph > mph convertor.

Nice "Max Power Style" mats

Box should remove ok as long as wires are T'd into converter lines looks that way from the tape. If in doubt take it and the converter out and then rewire the converter in only 4 wires its not difficult but its usually better to put it behind the clocks so you dont need to remove the crowling which can be a pain to get off and on sometimes and you can secure it to one of the multi plugs on the cluster rear so it wont rattle ;-)
