Thanks for your reply jjs, in my post i should of said that i need a block thats knackered,i.e ruined bores etc as i only need it for a project only. So its got to be cheap as possible.

Bob, have you got anymore at that price? No rush but I do need to get on top of my engine at some point?

did you want it for an engine build jim?......if so then not advisable
it wont be good enough as one of the liners has distorted, so the engine had some serious heat going through it at some stage.
we use a dial gauge on them when we do our engine builds and if there too far out of spec then il not use them there just slung on the scrap pile, there not even worth getting bored out.

Thanks Bob, I'm still thinking about sorting my engine out in the next few months but as you know I have been for the past year or so.
