engine temp sensor circuit

just read my fault codes and my car is throwing back 13 which is the above. What do i do to fix this.Thanks.

i got that with mine, only mine was cutting out as soon as the engine warmed up. the temp sensor was knackered and i got it replaced.

i did`nt do it myself so i cant relly help, except that it cost £120

The code means there's a fault with the signal to the ecu, so it's probably the sensor, but could be the wiring too.

I found that the plug on the end of the wire was very dirty and there was a split in the wire god it was a sod to get to,anyway i replaced the plug and repaired the cable.I did notice that the prong on the end of the temp sensor which the plug joins to is loose and spins round if u turn it is this normal or is it buggered? cheers

Sounds like it is buggered, the connector should be fixed and shouldnt spin round (well all the ones that ive changed have been fixed)
