exhaust rubbers

Can you get GTiR specific exhaust rubbers?

I have not long had a scorpion fitted and its hitting somewhere on idle. The exhaust guy said the rear hanger rubbers were weird and I would need proper ones.

I bought mine off eBay they weren't the same part as FAST tells you, but I got a bag of four or five genuine Nissan ones for £2... it hasn't made the car any quieter though.

Try loosening the joins and adjusting the way it hangs so that it doesn't catch, then doing it back up.

im getting some gtir polyurethane made up

I wasn't sure about polyurethane; purely because they're more stiff than the rubber so I figured they do less dampening (and therefore more vibration back into the body, and potentially more noise). However, it could be that the rubber is too soft and the sonic boom I get at ~3.5k is the whole exhaust vibrating; it's certainly a resonance issue.
