FMIC prob

Hi,

Fitted my FMIC finally today, but got a problem, with it being an ebay special, quality of design is not as good as hoped!!

Anyway, problem being the pipe coming off the tubby, had to remove manifold heat shield for it to fit, but there is a gap of about 2mm between intercooler pipe and the manifold, with this melt or cause any probs to the int. pipe?

Other problem cant get the oil seperator and bracket back in.

Are all kits the same, very tight fit, or shall I just tw*t it with a hammer

Could do, worth ago.

Thinking about it though, the manifold is bolted to an aluminum head, I know there is a gasket in between, cant be that much of a prob?

i would try some heat wrap around the pipe, you can also by little heat jackets for the turbine, think they are expensive though.
