hello,

I will need pistons forged in 87mm of diameter. which is the best choice (price/quality) .

even punishment for the FMIC... I saw the FORGE and that sold by GTI-r Spares... which is best ( for the performances , not for the price )

Intake...., several possible choices.

Apexi power intake, HKS sp flow ,Blitz sonic... still, which is the best for the performances (I do not speak about price...)

for the BOV, which think of the FORGE atmo ( I know that a BOV has recirc is better... but I want a atmo.. )

I need also a reinforced clutch... You guessed the question! that it is the best ratio quality/price

To finish... with brakes. what think of kit BREMBO 285mm of our friend of GTI-R spares?

Thank you for advances to you all. My English level is insufficient so that I can take all this information on your site... that would take one year to me!!

Have a search round the forum, you will find most of the answers there, but here are a few thoughts anyway.

HKS make very good pistons, but are expensive, as do Tomei. Any of the big manufacturers are pretty good.

Lots of arguments about which is better, do a search on the forum... ;)

Not much difference...

Recirculating valves are good for economy and safety but tend to leak at higher boost. HKS SSQ is a good atmospheric one.

AP or Helix organic are both good for street driving, AP paddle is good for competition, best is Os Giken twin plate

Brembo is one of the best ( and most expensive ) but 285mm will only fit in 16' or bigger wheels ( not 15's )

Please have a good read of the forum, as lots of people have lots of opinions for lots of reasons !!

Laughter...

I suspect well wink but as I said it, my English is somewhat... CALAMITOUS (I am French)!!

thus to read (and understand) all the posts covering subjects which interests to me take me time enormously...

it is for that that I made this post: all in one!

To have all information at the same time...

But I know that it is painful.... I am on a similar fBoard in France... and I know the problem.

But thank you nevertheless.

In my opinion/from what I have heard!

Pistons:

HKS

FMIC:

SE Nistek (+441621 858856) do one that is HUGE! I'd go for that.

Intake:

I've got anHKS and that seems fine to me.

BOV:

I've got Baileys. It does the job and is cheap!

Clutch:

AP organic if you want to use the car on the road, OS giken for track/strip. (I've got the AP organic and it is very good for the £££)

Brakes:

I will be ordering the Rally designs Wilwood kit this week http://forum.gtiroc.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=5753&highlight=wilwood+offer

Based on this:

Or talk to Jobi Joba because he's French too!

Hope this helps,

I have the apexi induction kit
the forge front mount
a mongoose exhaust

Everything else is standard and I just ran a 13.1quarter mile, so they must work.
