1992 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R. 12 months MOT, 2 months tax. It has been resprayed blue with the spoiler and grills done in black, nice colour combination, bit different to all the other Pulsars.
The engine is fully forged, using the best parts. It has 86.5mm HKS pistons, Arrow conrods, HKS 264 cams with HKS vernier pulleys, 1.8mm Cosworth metal head gasket. It's been put together using ACL bearings and ARP fasteners. It has big 3" thick front mount intercooler (painted black), upgraded HT leads, Mocal oil cooler, Exedy clutch, cone air filter, chipped ECU, Scorpion exhaust (and decat), Apexi blow off valve, Cusco strut brace, Greddy turbo timer, Sony headunit, Lockwood white dials and 16" alloys with Yokohama tyres with loads of tread.
I recently replaced the head gasket on it, I have pictures of when I took it apart. It's in great condition and doesn't look like it's done much mileage, the crank journal is perfect, the shells showed no signs of wear, the bores still had the honing marks and looked perfect. While it was apart I spent ages correctly setting the valve clearances. Pulsar SR20's usually sound like a bag of nails when they are warm, this one sounds like new. I also fitted a new water pump and thermostat.
The paint job isn't the best i've ever seen, it's presentable (as you can see, it looks great in the photos) but up close it's not perfect. There are some small rust bubbles coming through on the arches. Some of the fit and finish isn't the best.
