Question: Is a Garrett Turbo fitted as standard to an R?

In case you couldn't read that..... yes, the GTiR does run a Garrett turbo as standard.

It's a 'journal' bearing T28 type which, is a hybrid of a T25 (compressor side) and T3 (exhaust side) iirc ?!

yup Garrett TB2804 is the standard unit
