Im after a fully syn oil which gives the least amount of drag, Most people use readline mt 90 and silkolene off oilman but what gives the least amount of drag? or does all fully synthetic gear oil give the same friction losses?

I think you're stuck with 75w90 for the transmission and I think it's the viscosity of the oil (the 75w90) that determines the drag. I could be wrong tho :?

You dont have a lot of choice really, your gearbox calls for a 75w-90 gear oil.

The drag is caused by the viscosity of the oil, the only improvement you can make on the drag is to use an ester based synthetic gear oil as they are more fluid throught the temp range.

Hope this helps.

Guy.
