gear oil question

after getting the clutch changed was surprised no oil came out once we had split the driveshafts - is this ok? or does it look like ive lost all my gear oil :?

anyhows - i will be doing a gear oil change and just wondering does anyone know how much oil to put in? i take it i can just use the same type of oil in my rear diff box?

not the same oil..

u can hava gl4 80w90 or something like that for your gearbox..
and an lsd-diff oil for the diff.

why dont u search the forum, the correct answer of what to choose is on here somewhere.

i did a quick search but it was all about this 'redline' stuff!

AFAIK people use the same oil in gearbox, transfer and rear diff.

I don't think the diff is LSD.... is it??? :?
