gear selection

lost 1st and secound gear,gear leaver will not move over too the left.Dont think its the gearbox there is bad rattling noise round the area of the gear gator.Any thoughts what it could be-maybe diveshaft or gear linkage?????

That happend to me once... Its when i munched 5th gear... Ended up just going for the Quaife Box after that...

If you can't move the lever over to the left, sounds like you've dropped a bearing or something... Either was its a gearbox rebuild...

well it had too happen soon enougth i suppose,cars done 80k on original gearbox any way.cheers
