Gear stick buzzes at high revs

Hi guys,

I did a search for this and didn't find much.

Basically at high revs my gear stick buzzes really loudly and I pretty much use it as a shift indicator :) It's just one of those things that has always bugged me. As far as I can tell I have a standard gear knob (plain looking leather one with leather warn through).

Anyone else have this problem? Is there an easy fix. I noticed a few people said they had this problem after upgrading the gear stabliser arm bushes. As far as I know mine our standard.

Thanks heaps

Firstly do you have a quickshift if you do (aluminium gearstick) it is due to the pivot bolt being loose. If the gearshift is standard the nylon pivot bush could be worn and bolt loose.

My gear stick is standard. I'll have to have a look at the pivot bush.

Thanks for your help.
